Pickles&Swiss is a locally owned premier sandwich shop located in downtown Santa Barbara's Paseo Nuevo Mall, Goleta's Hollister Village & Westfield Topanga & The Village. We offer a wide variety of hot and cold sandwiches, build-your-own sandwiches, paninis, wraps, soups and salads.
Our restaurant emphasizes its use of fresh, local and homemade ingredients; aside from its sliced deli meats and cheeses, everything is made on-site. Our sandwiches, soups + salads are made from scratch daily with some of the finest ingredients around: Swiss Emmental cheese from Switzerland, Boar's Head premium meats and cheeses, locally sourced farm-fresh vegetables, and breads and pastries delivered fresh daily by local bakeries. Our ingredients are free of nitrates and preservatives, and we offer many gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian and organic options.
What sets us apart is how much love & effort we put into everything. The whole atmosphere at Pickles&Swiss is fun and upbeat with positive energy because we're all about going above and beyond for our customers.
ONCE UPON A TIME...
...there was a Pickle who fell in love with Swiss Cheese. Pickle was quirky. Swiss was sophisticated. Together they formed the perfect pair. They traveled far + wide, looking for the ideal sandwich to call home. After trying zillions of sandwiches, they found the best ingredients from their local seaside town of Santa Barbara, California. Swiss was super picky + wanted authentic Swiss Emmental cheese from Switzerland. Pickle loved a beefy Boar's Head sandwich with spices from around the globe. They knew the secret to a great sandwich was using fresh local produce so that every bite burst with quality + sublime flavor. Pickles&Swiss had a baby and called her Pickled Popcorn - she was zingy like her dad + left your mouth watering for more. And they all lived happily ever after!

Pickles&Swiss is a locally owned sandwich shop in Paseo Nuevo Mall in downtown Santa Barbara. They offer cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, paninis and made to order sandwiches. Their ingredients are fresh and local, never fried or frozen. They also sell chips, drinks, pickles and desserts. There is both indoor and outdoor seating.
“The whole atmosphere inside is an upbeat, fun atmosphere,” he added. “Everybody’s having a good time. It’s positive energy, and it’s going above and beyond, as far as customer service goes.
The catering service from Pickle&Swiss in Goleta this week knocked it out of the park. Everyone enjoyed the sandwiches including the Chipotle Turkey Club and Honey Gobble. If you're looking for a premier place to cater for your next event, I highly recommend them.
